How to find us:

Firedance Country Inn is located at 35 Firedance Ridge in St. Catherines

From Charlottetown and the Wood Islands Ferry - Head west on the Trans Canada Highway, (Hwy 1), to New Haven. Turn left following route 9 for approximately 3 kms. You will cross a bridge, keep left when the road forks and turn left onto Shaws Wharf Road. Turn right onto Firedance Ridge at the bottom of the hill and we are the house at the end of the road.

From the Confederation Bridge - Once you are on Prince Edward Island, head east on the Trans Canada Highway, (Hwy 1), towards Charlottetown until you reach New Haven, approximately 25 minutes. Turn right following route 9 for approximately 3 kms. You will cross a bridge, keep left when the road forks and turn left onto Shaws Wharf Road. Turn right onto Firedance Ridge at the bottom of the hill and we are the house at the end of the road.

From Halifax- Take Highway 102 north towards Truro and the Trans Canada Highway, (Hwy 104).

- For Caribou and the Wood Islands Ferry, turn east on the Trans Canada Highway, (hwy 104), and follow signs to Caribou and Prince Edward Island. It is approximately a 2 hour drive from Halifax to Caribou and The Wood Islands Ferry.

- For the Confederation Bridge, turn west on the Trans Canada Highway, (Hwy 104), and follow signs to New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. It is approximately a 2.5 hour drive from Halifax to the Confederation Bridge.

Travel Information

The Confederation Bridge joins the provinces of Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick, Canada and forms part of the Trans Canada Highway-making traveling to and from either province simple and convenient. The Confederation proudly plies the waters between Caribou and Wood Islands in just 75 minutes-and, in the process, offers you a unique opportunity to park the car, relax and enjoy the beauty of the sea and the sky.
