The Firedance Country Inn recently received recognition for entrepreneurial excellence as the 2006 CYBF Best Business Award Winner for Prince Edward Island. Selected from 1700 young entrepreneurs from across Canada, the Firedance Country Inn has been chosen as the provincial winner and was recognized at the Chairman’s
Awards Gala held in Toronto.
The Gala is one of the hottest events for young entrepreneurs in
Canada and a celebration of the diverse talent that the Canadian Youth Business Foundation has to offer.
The Gala is the premier event of its kind, honouring Canada’s top
young entrepreneurs and business leaders who guide their way. It is
one of the most colourful red carpet and black tie events nationwide.
Guests were treated to a night of inspiration, laughter and extravaganza. This special 10th
Anniversary celebration was presented by the Scotiabank Group, with the support of many leading companies such as Bombardier Inc., Research In
Motion Ltd., the RBC Financial Group, with a special congratulations from His Royal Highness Prince Charles. Held at the Toronto Hilton Hotel on May 25th, CYBF honoured all 10 Provincial Best Business Award winners,
and the CYBF Awards for Outstanding Community Partner, Volunteer and Mentors.
